It’s done. Together with other medium-sized companies – all specialists in their field – VEPAS bahnservice delivered 100,000 tons of building materials for the new capital airport BER within two months.
The building materials are intended for the renovation of the runway at Berlin-Schoenefeld Airport, which will also be the northern runway of the future capital city airport BER. During the construction work, all air traffic will be handled via the southern runway of the future BER.
The last block train with 2,350 net tons was unloaded at Teltow station on June 24th, 1 week before the agreed date. This shows that it is possible to realize projects on time by bundling entrepreneurial competence.
In addition to the managerial HVLE branch in Blankenburg/Harz and VEPAS bahnservice, the companies MiRo Mineralische Rohstoffe from Alt-Schwerin were involved as a handling company, Wesling Handel & Logistik from Staßfurt as a supplier of the building materials and link to the construction site, as well as numerous smaller transport companies from the southern Berlin area .
